Yes he’s only young but he’s very sloppy at times and it’s costing us big time. Criticism where due no point in papering it over
Palmer made about 35 appearances for City, where as Lewis has made his 82nd today from memory.Needs to be played as a midfielder.
Not that many and Lewis isn't an attacking player and not expected to really chip in (although it is a bonus)You're on a roll tonight, Ray
How many games has Rico started compared to Palmer?
I think that's fair enough - Rico's definitely a squad player. A solid back-up utility player who should be operating closer to their goal than ours. I think, at his age, he excels as part of a functioning system but gets exposed in rocky moments for the other 10 lads. To be expected at this stage of his career. He'll bulk up a bit over the next three years and I think he'll be pretty handy by the time he matures. Doesn't have to be a legend or a starter, though. Every team needs its John O'Shea.Once we get some more first team players with the right quality, I'd imagine he'll be a regular on the bench.
Not half CBB.C'mon oakie this matchday thread is infested with the cunts,
More to do with an appalling summer window for me.
Good finish and worked hard but he has one thing that will always hold him back. Lack of pace.
I thought he needed to be instantly world class and ready made. Well that’s according to some on here.I think that's fair enough - Rico's definitely a squad player.
