26 isn't too old and the potential is in how we make the best of him.

Nunes imo is similar in style to Palmer. Give either a role that involves space and the ball and there will be goals.

Pep doesn't often allow that though. Which is a mystery to me, given the spell we just had. I see Nunes as part of the fix. Same with Grealish.
Agree on Grealish just don’t see it with Nunes. Think he’s had opportunities but never taken them really. He’s got good attributes but doesn’t influence games

I agree, mate. I'd start McAtee at Gundogan's expense because Gundo will be knackered from yesterday. But not only that, young James confidence will be sky high after his hat trick. He has the legs to run and the drive to succeed. He must be given a chance starting at Brentford.
Gundo should be nowhere near the first 11 on Tuesday...

Has to play the next game now, he's grabbed his chance with both hands much rather see McAtee getting until the end of the season to make his mark in the team than watch the ghost of Bernardo run about aimlessly.

I'll be fuming if we sell him in this window without Pep giving the lad a proper chance, especially after scoring a hattrick. It's our duty to develop him further, not any other club.

Hard to argue with that. And because the club is permanent, while managers are temporary, I would hope both the outgoing and incoming DoFs have the biggest input.

That said, if the manager just won’t play him, he’ll have to go at

Class player and both him and o Reilly should be playing more . If we sell any of these players we will be fucking up big time as they are the future .pep is the greatest manager ever but his biggest flaw is not trusting the young players .
It seems like we haven’t learnt anything from palmer or the others we’ve sold. We only seem to want ready made players or others teams young talent.

When we already have the talent here, but the academy is only seen as a way to make us money.

This would be a huge mistake letting him go - I still can’t understand why he hasn’t had more game time this season especially with our struggles - I think he could be a City legend given the chance, he looks a wonderful footballer and seems to have time and create space and never looks hurried or unsure of what to do and his finishing is instinctive.
His hat trick vs League 2 Salford notwithstanding, he's been very average. I want him to be a star but I just don't see it. If you saw him on another team, would you even notice him?

It would be ridiculous if we sold him. I don’t understand why he hasn’t been given a chance. He’ll end up being a top player.

The academy is seemingly just there to make us money now, even if they players are good enough. What’s really frustrating is that we sign players who then aren’t as good.
