This government are making wide ranging in cuts to our health service and welfare state, next will be education, all because with their millions stashed away in off shore accounts, they can afford to send their children to private schools, have private healthcare and will never need to avail of benefit, targeting the poor and rewarding the wealthy is NOT the way a civilised society should be governed.

That's a bit simplistic mate, not all Tory MP's are wealthy and not all Labour MP's are working class

Agreed but they are all self serving fucking pigs with one set of rules for them and one for us!

Look at the issue of blue badges, they are constantly abused and this takes money away from those who truly need it and help fuel the press with all the scroungers stories

How does abusing blue badges take money away from people who truly need it?

You could argue any system that takes money from local government means they have less to spend on worthy causes

The problem is, even if they enter politics with the right attitude, it is soon knocked out of them when they realise that they have to conform to the system to get things done

My issue is they are all cut from the same cloth and offer the voter no real difference in policy or choice.

As for them being self serving pigs at the trough, one look at the expenses and benefits they claim on top of their salaries and pensions whilst voting through life changing and drastic cuts to those they are supposed to serve tells you all you need to know about just how fucked up our political class is.

There should be a minimum age for politicians with a minimum qualifying period of having worked out in the real world first before being allowed on to the gravy train.

They may just have a clue as to what happens in the real world then although i wont hold my breath.

Stockport council recently asked all blue badge users if a charge of £10 to renew the badge was fair. The response was hugely in favour by 90% as the people who use a blue badge realise the benefits it entails.

A blue badge costs only admin money, the agreement of the users to cover admin costs means there is more money for worthy causes.

I would go on but i dont want to bore you to death with common sense anymore

Don't quote me but i read somewhere 19 of the current cabinet are multi-millionares

And this is relevant to this thread how exactly?

Because they talk like they are on the side of the poor because they understand what they go through to make ends meet and i challenge that because they have never had to budget for anything.anyone who thinks the bedroom tax is a good idea when they live in big houses and claim expenses to pay for a lot of it are deluded and so far removed from normal life as you can
get.I dont blame them for being rich but all in this together, dont make me laugh
