Joining the forces was the best thing I ever did on so many levels.
People who state that only the exploited working classes join the Armed forces out of desperation simply couldn't hack it.

I've heard the army was for the working classes, the navy for gays and the raf for people of a bit higher intelligence and social standing - i'm guessing this is complete bollocks.

This bit is definitely true. They also tend to be more attractive people in the RAF.

Is that because their better social standing means they've come from a better genepool?

Yes, I think it probably is.

As usual it's everybody elses fault and not our own, it's our society, we're all responsible or we can just sit on our arses creating facebook groups calling for the death penalty and blame everyone from the govt to black people to gays, it wont change a thing.

Look in the mirror.

Who's responsible?

You fucking are.

Love is all.

You'r right it's our society, so collectively we can be blamed, but on an individual level I can't agree.

It's like saying that I was responsible for the closing down of British industy, even though I, together with 58% of Britons, didn't vote Tory.

You're right but as people we have much more power than we think, we just need to organise then rise.

As usual, you're spot on. I was in Trafalgar Square when the Poll Tax balloon went up and didn't we get rid of that tax and Thatcher?

People power in action.

Sorry for the delayed reply: I nodded off.
