I live here in the states (Kansas) but I remember I was in school going to math class and one of the other teachers walked and said the towers had been hit. The rest of the day was just watching the news and thinkin the world was about to end. The mood went from sorrow to anger in a couple days and the wars started and the rest is history. Over the last few years though my eyes have been open to the real truth about what happened and the reasons behind it. Loose Change has been comprehensively de-bunked, even by those who do believe that all was not as it seemed on 9/11. Plus in these days of instant media coverage and internet access, to think that so many people could have taken part in a conspiracy without anyone actually involved speaking out or leaking something is quite preposterous.

Classic case of David Icke's 'problem-reaction-solution' thesis. That doesn't mean one has to subscribe to Icke's theories of the illuminati and reptillian humanoids, however, the process of problem-reaction-solution in my opinion, is clearly evident here. It's as much a conspiracy theory to believe it happened as the media reported, as it is to believe the government knew/were involved.

Loose change has been derided by all and sundry, please don't use this as proof of any sort of conspiracy in regards to 9/11. It's the kind of documentary made for paraniod under graduates who smoke too much weed and need to stop reading far fetched websites.
Going back to your earlier shocking statement Ricster, have you any reputable proof that Jews were told to stay at home on 9/11 or is this another rumour doing the rounds online made up by idiots? I suspect you're most likely mis-informed there too.

There is no doubt about PB, something went pear shaped along the way, and yeah i think there is a bit of a cover up. Do i believe everything the movie had to offer? Probably not cos there are flaws in some of the arguments. Do i still believe what i believed before? Very much so.

I certainly remain to be convinced that 9/11 was purely the idea and work of a group of Muslim fanatics. But best practice with these things is to encourage someone to do your dirty work for you, rather than do it yourself, so I don't believe there was a complex conspiracy to fly robot planes into buildings.

Unfortunately as in the past where there has been a scandal/blatant lies and cover ups by Royals and Govt., it only gets officially released after about a 100 years, into the public domain anyway and the people that receive the information will say, "how thick were our ancestors not to have sussed something was'nt quite right"? just as we have done with scandals of the past, but unfortunately we/some of us have sussed it but are weighed down and shouted out by the dwindling flat earth society and the gutless cowards in the media. Fuk em.

If we merged all the 9/11 threads I wonder how many pages we'd be on. I seem to remember one not long ago, and am sure there'll be another along in a few days!

Was at school I think I was about ten, and I remember all the teachers going into each other's classes saying have you heard what's happened, but no one ever explained what actually had happened until the second tower was hit. One of the teachers came running in shouting "the other tower has been hit, they're is no way that this was an accident" leaving our very annoyed teacher having to explain what had happened and what it meant to us, resulting in the whole class crying and screaming that we were all going to die. They had to get the head teacher to come in and calm us down but none of us would do our work so they let us watch the news until it was home time.

Everyone was so worked up by the end of the day that a load of parents complained to the school for their lack of sensitivity in such an important matter. As cliche as it sounds, that day felt like the last of my childhood naivety and innocence, the day I found out how cruel the world was and that those sorts of disasters could happen to anyone, even in America.

It covers about 140 conspiracies over the ages, including Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Marilyn Monroe, The Templars, The European Union, The Illuminati, Anne Frank, Mozart, most assassinations, the Holocaust and The Pope!

I'm not saying that everything in Loose change is proven but it does make you ask questions about the initial report. Most of my friends here even know that there was something fishy going on that day and then on top of that Bush gets re elected in 04. All these movies, music, entertainment ets. is just to keep the mass population busy and not to look any further into the matter. JFK was the last true president btw. Look at what happens to the celebs that go against it (ie. Michael Jackson, 2pac, Kennedys, Diana)

If it doesn't make sense its usually not true.
