To be fair, a book which conclusively proved something mad like Israel being to blame would be unlikely to get published.
With stuff like this, whether you're reading books by learned scholars or watching mental people on you tube, the truth is so distorted and hidden that one really isn't worth any more than the other.
If it is what it is, all the US ever had to do was tell us the truth, instead they warped the events to such an extent that all manner of conspiracies could be born. Indeed, the ultimate conspiracy would be that this was their intention all along.
Don't get me wrong, I do find it unlikely that the US govt would do this to it's own people but then sometimes unlikely events occur like finding a terrorists passport intact whilst bodies and buildings were obliterated.

Completely agree with that statement. The official government story has more holes in it than an Afghan minefield. Look at the Warren Commission regarding JFK's assassination, nobody believes it. I'm personally very skeptical of governments, especially the US government. At the end of the day they care about one thing; power, not about you or me.

Just wanted to add some thoughts, they are not relating to the building collapses or anything but more another slant.
There had already been an attack on the World Trade Centre (as most probably already know) in 1993. One of the planners of that attack was a very competent explosives expert, Ramzi Yousef.
Yousef's Uncle, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, planned September 11th along with Ramzi Binalshibh.
The concept of using planes in these types of attacks was not a new one (<a class="postlink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_France_Flight_8969" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_France_Flight_8969</a>).
There had also been a planned operation called 'Bojinka', again planned by both Ramzi Yousef and his Uncle, to blow up 11 airliners and assassinate the Pope, had this been a success there would have been a few thousand people dead.
Al-Qaeda had bombed the US embassies in Nairobi and Dar-es-Salaam in 1998 (to which some may recall Clinton ordering cruise missile attacks on Bin Laden's Afghan training camps). There was also an attack on the USS Cole in 2000, to which Bin Laden dedicated a poem.
It is very easy to say with the benefit of hindsight but when putting the above into context it becomes clear that a plot by Islamic Militants at some point or another, involving airlines, at landmarks synonymous with the US, would not be out of the question.
Personally, I believe there was some great naivety on the part of the Americans, but as for a conspiracy theory or an inside job, I don't buy into that, in spite of their track record as many have pointed out.
