The media etc. Can call him a tap in merchant as much as they like. But those are the goals we have been missing the last couple of seasons, and besides a tap in can be a thing of beauty as well, you had to do the hard work to be in the right spot at the right time to be able to just tap it in. In some ways a simple tap in is more satisfying than a hit and hope that looks good but was just lucky !

As I said before, when he gets the ball you just get the feeling it's going to be a goal.
His most recent was very well taken. What a champion!

Would love to know how he's feeling about taking on United in October. I'm sure a certain memory won't escape his attention. Here's hoping for another hattrick!

Pep compared it to Cruyff’s goal against Athletico. And as usual, Pep was correct - it’s almost a mirror image of Haaland’s late winner Vs Dortmund.

So the dopey twat didn’t even compare the right cruyff goal then!! What a dick!

He's phenomenal. It's a sign of of how brilliant he is that yesterday was considered a tepid performance; yet he still bagged.

Also, can somebody explain to me why "tap-in merchant" is used as a slight against strikers? Erling has been tapping home staggering numbers for Salzburg, Dortmund, Norway, and now us. If it were that easy why doesn't every other striker in the league have close to his numbers yet? It's because he is bonafide world-class. The tap ins are a result of perfect positioning and predatory instincts; a combination only a select few forwards possess. Look at the goals Messi, Ronaldo, Lewandowski, Benzema, et al have scored throughout their careers. Hundreds of them will be "tap ins". A striker continually dropping deep to bang them in from thirty yards isn't doing his job properly.

Still can't believe he's ours. Gonna cherish every minute he's with us.
Just a tap in was used against raz all of the time, baters of course

Give me another 20-odd so-called "tepid" performances then. You won't hear me complaining.
