I don’t think he had a single fucking ball played into space for one of the many runs he made today.

I don’t think he had a single fucking decent pass played to his feet that wasn’t too far ahead of him or too far behind or too slow or too hard.

I don’t think he had a single fucking cross played anywhere near him today.

The team let him down massively today.

Someone on a different thread said he was clearly unfit. But I disagree, and like you, I think he got zero service today. Kev having an absolute shocker didn’t help Erling one bit.

Every cross was either 10 yards in front of where it needed to be, or 5 yards above his head.

Bad day at the office all around, I’m sure he’ll be back on top form when the league resumes.
 
Mentioned this earlier today but his build up play is improving. There were two occasions he provided a chance for another person to shoot.

Gundo was the one (should’ve scored) that was memorable. The other one escapes me but he is working on other facets of his game which is great to see.

So many runs and either the pass was too far forward or behind. Can add hardly passed to him as well.
 
Frustrated figure today and absolutely no service from the team who all had the World Cup on their minds .

Unfit - who says that? For their winner he bust a gut to sprint the length of the pitch to try and defend the cross - none of our defenders could be bothered
 
We have the best striker in the world. An absolute bonafide world star of the game and some are questioning him. I get it, as he is only averaging 1.4 goals per game in the PL and 1.25 goals per game in the CL. Shite.

Everyone is entitled to a bad game, even the best…and make no mistake he is the best.

He was one of the very few out there today, who looked genuinely pissed off with what was going on. It’s a shame a few others didn’t have the same attitude.
 
Didn’t got decent service. So to some point I understand his frustration.
But someone needs to tell him to stop showing the bad body language all the time as being a spoiled brat not getting the toy he asked for.

With Haaland in we will get his goals but we also look more predictable. It’ll be interesting to see how Haaland develops and the others with Haaland in their team after the WC break.
