He looks pissed off and has every right to be. We no doubt will have promised being a focal point in an expansive, attacking team and suddenly he’s feeding off scraps and having his runs ignored.

The sooner somebody in the team has the bollocks to try and find him, the better. They’re all too scared to lose the fucking ball and it shows.

No shots from your main man? What a crock of shite. Not his fault either, he’s trying his hardest to get the ball to his feet.
He has every reason to be pissed off, he is feeding on scraps and hardly gets any service. The way we currently play with risk aversion football must drive Haaland mad.

0 goals at Liverpool, United, Chelsea and Spurs. Easy to blame the other players.

Last season, we had more goals after 21 PL games than this season. We were creating more chances and we were more solid in defence. Maybe Haaland has come in a transitional period. Next season will show whether he can make us better. It's quite obvious though that there's a lot, lot more to scoring goals as a team than having the best finisher(s) up front.

Do you really think Grealish, Mahrez, KDB, Bernado etc , some of the best players in the league wouldn’t pass to Haaland if they could. He spends too much time down the middle, gets marked out of the game, leaving no space for others to run into.
When we had no striker we had goals throughout the side. Defenders had no one to mark and the movement across the front six was impossible to contain.
Haaland is without doubt a great striker but we are a worse team with him.
I think Alvarez is a better bet for us long term.

From the back four? Laporte is one of our best passers in that department.
I know. Can’t remember him playing too many passes that have sent our centre forward clean through though. The lack of his passing from the back may inhibit us at times i’m not disputing that. My point is a fair few times today and against the rags our midfielders who are supposed to be our creative players had relatively decent chances to put a pass through to Haaland and decided to take a couple of touches and play 15 yards passes inside instead.

So against utd and Spurs you’ve not seen about 6xs him make runs and our midfielders not play the early pass? Do you also think Foden wasn’t one on one with Milner about 5xs with space a year on from absolutely roasting him all game at Anfield and not stop and pass inside slowing down our play.

We also used to have very fast wingers who used to be able to skin fullbacks on the outside who have since been sold and replaced with slower players who cut inside and slow the play down. Wonder what the common denominator is here!

When we were playing properly, he was scoring 1.5 goals a game.

Since we've started playing an 18 year old right back in midfield he isn't in the game.

The system is bollocks, and it's making everyone worse.
