Like every City fan, my head's spinning from the game today .. all those missed chances.

But I keep coming back to the best finisher in world football being through on goal, feeling a hand on his shoulder and dropping to the floor.

It's out of character as a player ... it's out of character as a man who wants to score goals above everything else.

Trying to tell myself it was a bad decision in the moment, that we all maybe forget he's still a young player and can make bad judgements.

I still don't understand it, don't think I ever will.

Erling, it's not you, don't ever do it again. Keep up the good work Big Man.
 
Not sure why he went down rather than finishing that chance - he did it earlier in the season against another to get somebody sent off (didn’t work then either) but can’t remember who.

Needs to just zone in on scoring like he does 99% of the time instead of trying to get somebody sent off.

That miss too, fuck me. Good job he’s got (more than enough) credit in the bank.
 
An absolute disgrace to cheat for a pen and red card when clean through. I can reluctantly accept all the misses from the team today, they’re not trying to miss on purpose. But Haaland’s actions rile me. It’s intentionally refusing to shoot and preferring to cheat instead. He cost us.
 
his confidence has taken a toll. I haven't seen him like this. He looks often sad and lethargic. He's never in his career experienced being debated being good enough for the team or not, I believe the media debate has made him overthink his game. He used to play for fun, now it's an emotional battle he needs to grow out of. It doesn't help not receiving passes either. I suspect he feels fatigue. Come on big lad, pick yourself up and start being a viking again!
 
Doesn't touch the ball enough. Look at the way he drove past 2 defenders when he did get the chance.

Who's telling him not to get involved? Coz they are wrong.
 
He's a problem when out of possession as he just doesnt press ,.more jogs over and stops in front of the man with no effort to make a challenge, gives the opposition time to play out. This is exactly what pep dropped sergio for when he first came until.
