? Far too reasoned.
Surely you know someone is ether very good or very bad.
people seem to think even if he doesn't touch the ball he isnt doing anything, the lad doesn't stop all game, and if anything we don't give him the ball enough, yesterday he did his job scoring the winner , thats what hes paid for, he does that and a whole lot more, he should however had 1 maybe 2 more,

28 goals in 26 matches is amazing. 33 goal contributions in 26 games , hes out scoring teams never mind other players, imo he cant be questioned what he does for us.

erling is doing really well even without goals, he ties defenders up ,pulls them all over the place , his problem as is the teams before he got here is teams defend deep and in numbers, he scores 1 goal every 4 attempts ,that is incredible and the longer he plays with us the better he will become,

oh for david silva feeding the big lad.

The superb Grealish run, where he should have scored, was very much a situation created by Haalands movement and taking two defenders away from the ball.

They are petrified of his presence,we need to exploit that as much as possible.

Finishing has been off recently, not even forcing saves, just straight up missing the target.

Movement for crosses has been non existent too, not challenging for headers just waiting in hope the cross reaches him in space.

Love the lad but he needs to up his game. 7 in 14 in 2023. Goalless in 9 of those games.
Went goalless in just 4 of first 20 games(2022).
He might be the most excuse made for striker I've ever seen in the prem too, according to pundits ect, EVERYTHING is teammates fault.

I'm not questioning his quality, just his performances have been well short of what they could/should be. Needs to always be aggressive as he was vs Arsenal, needs to mix up his movement, allergic to going wide(almost got a goal from it yesterday, do it more) offer for the ball and bring wide men into play.

By his standards going through a barren spell ,only scoring every other game !! Love his enthusiasm and commitment to the cause and he doesnt let missed chances faze him , still capable of 40 league goals this season , then we can listen to the end of season debate about how he doesnt fit into a Pep team , hilarious, and to think we could have signed barn door Nunez for another £30m

That's his form, not his quality. Seen when he first got here his finishing and movement is elite. Just isn't currently.

Can you imagine the through balls YaYa would also be sending his way?

Thiis is really harsh, he has been getting assists and contributing in the games when not scoring. As long as we are winning, it doesn't matter.

When he was scoring loads, everyone was saying 'he doesn't get involved enough'.

All players miss chances and our playing style will always mean he spends periods out of the play. The area that he still needs to develop is his first touch when the ball is played up to him under pressure and how he sets it to the supporting players. Aguero took time to develop that ability and Kane is the current master of it in England, but he has seven years on Haaland and more experience of the league.

Don’t forget he has double the number of PL goals, 28, than the “best striker in the world right now”, 14 (who isn’t actually even the best striker in the PL.. or even the best striker in Manchester!!).
