Enjoyed that
What I liked about Shearer was he was no nonsense when finishing, he scored some spectacular goals but he never took unnecessary fancy chances when finishing, just give the ball a bit of stick and make sure it hits the net. I see that in Haaland too. Strong finishers. Seems they have a similar mentality and passion for scoring, which can only be good for Haaland.
It frustrates me when I say players trying to finish and barely even put their foot through the ball.
You have got some player there. Can't wait to see him play when you come to our gaff, but ask him to take it easy on my beloved Toffees
My brother and nephew were walking up Shudehill and seen Haaland and a colleague going into Angel gardens before, he asked for a photo with my nephew he said No,seems a bit of an arrogant twat by all accounts.
He probably would of broke the screen anyway with is looks : )I’ve never had a problem with that. If a guy is out and about in his personal life and being asked for pictures, he doesn’t have to oblige. Of course it would be nicer if he said yes but for all you know he might’ve taken pictures with 30 kids already that day, when does it end if so?
Famous people are human beings and at the end of the day there is absolutely nothing wrong with them not wanting to be photographed when they’re living their private life and with family, friends, colleagues etc..
People will say the fans pay his wages, so he should. No, they pay to watch him play football, and he does.
But maybe I’ve seen it from a different angle because I have a friend/acquaintance who is pretty famous (I’m not going to name names obviously) - but I’ve been out with him and even when he’s with his kid, just trying to have a walk or have dinner or something and people are stopping him every 5 minutes and it’s just not nice when it’s again and again. sometimes you just have to say no.
we would have ruined him. Probably played him in goal or summit. Not much chance of that, I think. Especially considering this:
