Haven't followed the thread much to date, but one thing his mere presence should do is give us more more room to play in the midfield.
Teams playing a high line to keep compact are simply going to get murdered with his movement in behind, combined with KDB's worldly ability to pick a pass.
If he gets it played through and he's clear, from wherever he is on the pitch, there's just little chance of any defender getting to him. He doesn't drop much speed when on the ball, and his size means he can usually position himself in front of you without being pushed off if.

I couldn’t believe how fast he was against West Ham but this vid just shows his speed. I dont know how you counter that. Some of the defenders in these clips are not Jogging they are full on sprinting and they can’t catch him, his acceleration is ridiculous
The best ones are when he starts on defense and begins to run at full blast. Even though the play hasn't developed yet.
That's just a sign of a man who knows his job and hates not being there :)

It's funny, I remember watching highlights of Salzburg against Napoli in the Champions League when he scored at Dominican Republic's airport on the way back from my honeymoon and thinking 'fuck me, this guy is going to be a superstar' and 3 years later, he's ours in blue.
The way he eats ground up with a long stride and somehow finishes chances at top speed is abnormal.
Still have to pinch myself sometimes.
