So over on sadcafe they are almost to a person saying that Erling is the best thing since sliced bread ,and if only they had just pushed a little harder they could have signed him because of Ole at the wheels connection at Molde. I personally dont" think they had a cat in hell"s chance, and that they are repeating this little nugget to make themselves feel as if they were almost relevant once . So was there ever a chance the cat may have felt a little hot ?

Apparently he wanted a low release clause at United so would have seen it as a stepping stone similar to Dortmund

Can you imagine that scum team trying to create the chances for Erling lol!!!

I'm with you,I don't think he would ever have gone there, two reasons really, firstly they are shit and have been for a long while,so no chance of competing or winning anything, and secondly he's a blue, and even at his unveiling he made it clear what he thought of the rags.

Like Liverpool fans, they can cling on to whatever silly dreams they come up with, but as the saying in life goes, the truth hurts

I’m still watching that pass to Phil for that fourth goal! Wow!

He has the touch of Kev in his boots, apart from being the most lethal finisher I’ve ever seen!

Sometimes Pep is too much sincere.

Dont say "Haaland needs others and Messi does it alone".

Say Messi has a career and Haaland no. Say Haaland is a pure 9 and Messi no. Say forget Messi you cant stay all time comparing him, and say HAALAND IS THE BEST 9 TODAY.

He is not wrong, Messi is something else.

I've never seen anything like him. Honestly don't even know what to say about him. I stand level with goalline so get to see him close up in the first half, and he's a machine. No wasted movement, every run and movement is calculated to maximizing his chance to score a goal. He's like Madrid era Ronaldo in that regard, but with the speed and pace of a sprinter. He needs about two stides to get up to full speed, it's scary to see as a fan when he's on your team, I dread to think what defenders are making of him. Just unbelieavable.

One of those comments that look a lot worse when in black and white. If you watch the interview he said it in, it's pretty obvious the tone he's going for and it's not a slight against Haaland in any way.

Plus, he's not wrong per se.

At the moment he looks unstoppable, the complete striker. Carragher made a good point on MNF he must strike the fear of god in defenders. Looking forward to seeing how he gets on against Van Dijk in a couple of weeks.
Exploit liverpools high line and Haaland will destroy them.

In the community shield you could see that pass was on all the time and we never looked up. and then a couple of weeks later we were watching the likes of Crystal Palace just cut them open with through balls because they’re so vulnerable to it.

Klopp never really changes how his team plays, so we will get chances if we exploit that.

Haaland is a big boy, I’m sure he understands what Pep is saying and agrees.

They’re also coping by insisting he’s going to Madrid within two years (oh, and Pep will leave after this season.)

No but he’d still have scored a shitload for them. Look at Ronaldo last season and he had about half left in the tank compared to Haaland. Thank christ they couldn’t get him and although i was gutted at the time thank fuck Spurs kept hold of Kane.

No other striker is getting onto that second goal of his today. I thought he was sliding to make it look like he’d made an effort but no, fuck me, he’s got his beautiful, lanky bastard frame to it and thundered it in.

A phenom. A City, blue phenom.

Could we see a Ballon D’Or presentation at the Etihad?!
Pissing myself at that first paragraph hahahahahaha.

Get 'beautiful lanky bastard' on a flag ASAP

Remember this?

We used to be in envy.

Now we are the envy of every team.

There will be homages made for a 1000 years of him playing at Man City!

We City fans are so lucky, we lived in a time of Kompany, David Silva, Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne, Pep Guardiola and Erling Haaland!!!!

Just seen a clip on Twitter on the Sky Sports page.

Some dickhead was on a panel back in august bleating on about showing respect to the established PL strikers, this because the other members - non of them Blues as far as I can tell - were all rightfully raving about Haaland in the PL.

His closing statement was ‘he will do well to score 15 goals.

He’s getting hammered on there. Rory Jennings is the name. Chelsea fan, also a proper fucking moron who clearly knows nothing about the game.

All these goals but not one in motd goal of the month competition

Hmmm
Dortmund one probably the only one that would have made it had it been in a league game. Will happen soon enough when he absolutely thunders one in
