All this kerfuffle about the number of touches in a game. I couldn't care less. If he had 3 touches in a game and scores 3 goals I'm not going to complain.

I was also thinking about Merlin when I saw that Gundo through ball. David Silva would have had a field day creating chance after chance for the big fella!

Yeah, it’s meaningless, although his lack of involvement is probably why we’re conceding more at the moment.

Once we sort the press out, we’ll be golden.

If he keeps on scoring for us and carries on making headlines my worry is that some **** will try and damage him in a bad way.
Already mentioned in the Telegraph tonight how rival managers are getting their heads together on how to stop Erling. Sounds ominous but equally sounds like it could be bs

I honestly think that if Pep had got his way, we'd be watching both Haaland and Kane, with Alvarez away on loan.
There's much to Kane's game than just goals that Pep would probably admire imo.

Water under the bridge of course, and it will be interesting to see how Alvarez develops over the next year or two.
Not sure Pep wanted Haaland and Kane, the latter was always his wish, I think the club and Txiki wanted a more long term investment in Haaland/Alvarez

The greatest strikers ever have all done the same, anonymous for 89 mins but it's that one strike that makes them great, to be fair Kun certainly before Pep's arrival could appear to be coasting in most games but he did what he was paid to do, put the ball in the back of the net.

Last season we would not have recovered from that first half against Palace, Haaland was the difference.

So the paper talk is that rival managers are ringing around to collaborate as to how to stop our Nordic giant lol.

Maybe it’s not such a bad thing that he only has 8 touches a game. That’s only 8 chances to scythe him down!
