Level with Diego Costa, Gareth Bale, Ollie Watkins and Chicharito on the all-time top PL scorers list. One behind Andy Carroll and Alexandre Lacazette. Three off Diogo Jota and Tim Cahill, and by the end of the season he'll likely have overtaken Gianfranco Zola, Richarlison, David Silva and Yaya Toure, Robert Pires, David Beckham, Alexis Sanchez, KDB, Danny Welbeck, Michail Antonio, Anthony Martial and Wilf Zaha. To do all that in two seasons is just mad.
I am amazed that some of the names on that list are anywhere near Erl to be honest.

Thank fuck we've got haaland. Need to start playing direct more to him. Teams sit in against us because we force them to. Our build up is too slow, there's plenty of opportunities in the game to go in behind with him, we just don't even consider it when we really should. He continues to show what a monster he is at doing that and we still refuse to utilise it. Our game doesnt need to change much to get more out of him.

So happy he scored. Good body language too.

We need to pull defence out more to give him that space. Our slow ball circulation is fine to manage a game off, but it's hopeless to unsettle a stable defence. Pep, wake up.

Scored just as Brentford were starting to come into the game and starting to think that they might get something more if they ventured forward. Couple more minutes and it might even have been against the run of play. He does relish that extra space.

So obvious he's been targeted by PGMOL in the hopes he fucks off to Spain!

FFS how many times does Haaland have to be wrestled to the ground in the area before we'll actually get something for it? Its a fuckin joke!!!

Coulda have 4 pens!

Put it this way: out of everyone mentioned in that post, the one who has made the fewest Premier League appearances by far is Diego Costa, with 112 appearances.

Haaland is on 55 appearances. Less than half of Costa. It's absolutely insane.

Why do we not try to create more balls through the line for him.

I just don’t get our defenders running 70 yards then passing to a midfielder then trying to walk it in.

He’s a beast running through but we do it generally once a game
The only feasible time we can put balls through the line is when we nick possession deep in our own half and spring a counter.
When we start with possession from Ederson it’s not ever going to happen. (Barring Ederson hitting it long)
