I disagree that the best response to Haaland's current plight is to sell him. He needs an attitude adjustment, sure, but you could say that about a number of players in this team currently. The belief has gone from a lot of them. Couple of months ago it was Foden we should cash in on. Weeks ago it was Doku. Guess now it's Haaland's turn. Soon it'll be Jack's.

Just out of interest when bony was putting in these shit performances did you say the same about him because atm Haaland is terrible and there is no sugarcoating at all. A lot on here seem to be scared to call him out and say that atm he is not meriting a place in the team . He is paid probably in one week more than most on here earn in 4 years so when is doing crap he should be called out because if you where putting a show like he had at work week in week out you’d be out of the door . I’m not saying get rid but he needs to improve and quick .

Also people forget if kun didn't get the "service " he went and got it and got himself involved in the game !

If we didn’t play kova midfield would have been lost and we’d be looking at a defeat .

The odds of a defeat would have been higher but it still slowed us right down and made our 4 attackers easy to defend, especially when Arsenal came for a draw. Perhaps the subs should have been made a bit earlier.

What do you expect, if you pay 52m for a striker you are getting a 52m return on goals.
If you sign a 100m striker you're getting a 100m return on goals.

This constant talk of how many touches he has/dropping off to get involved is boring. We all saw the type of striker that he was before he joined City. Even last season we saw what his game is like, that’s not going to change. Play to his strengths. Comparing him to Sergio as well two completely different players.

As mrtwiceaseason said, the difference between Haaland and Aguero is huge. Aguero would happily receive a ball with players around him, beat 1 or 2 and smash it in. Haaland does not have it in his locker to beat a player with any type of skill other than brute force and running, his first touch is woeful and he even looks like he's losing control of the ball when passing, he just looks clumsy. When he doesn't score we play with 10 players and it's unsettling the team.

Bony scored 8 goals for us. Haaland has scored 80. Bit of a difference.

Im sure he has an issue with his shoulder see him holding it at times less so of late so hopefully on the mend

Maybe, it would not be a surprise if he has an op on his foot this summer, whatever the issue I get the feeling he is playing despite his fitness levels way off what it should be.

Don't get the ball to him quickly enough and every team now sits that deep he can't play on the shoulder. They're happy for him to come short because his touch is rather poor. For somebody with his physical attributes he should be much better at holding the ball up.

That said; despite all our possession the ball is very rarely in the box and when it is he's often isolated by himself. He thrives off first time crosses but they've either all been instructed to keep the ball at all costs or none of them back themselves to put a decent ball in. Passing it around the 18 yard box until we misplace a pass and the opposition breaks is one of my biggest bugbears.

These crosses will never materialise when we have Gvardiol, Akanji & Walker as our wide players. We need fucking wingers who can cross
