We're simply not using him properly this year. He's a generational talent.

Our reluctance to risk giving the ball away, (while I'll be sad when it goes), means the guy is making runs that go constantly ignored.

He works hard, tries to hold up play, press when he can, but other than a couple of glaring misses when he gets a chance it's going in. He's just not getting those chances....and still has 29 goals.
Yep pretty much, particularly the bolded bit, it looked like he got fed up with it eventually yesterday, as much as many of our fans did.

Absolutely

Not that Haaland isn't without faults but when you have Kev, Foden, Bernado etc on the pitch and can barely create any real chances and the team seemingly cant vary their attacking approach, I think Haaland isn't the man to blame in this situation. Everyone needs to do better.

Low block, park the bus etc etc. We know all that but its your creative players job to find a way, to change things up when it's clearly not working. We can do it, it's not like teams have suddenly started to play this way against us but I don't think enough of our players are firing at the moment. De Bruyne and Bernado look far away from the form they had during the run in last season, understandable with Kev.

I'm not worried about Haaland at all, I'm more concerned about how predictable we seem to be and that comes down to players simply looking nowhere near their best.

The big difference this season is defenders are allowed to man handle him more without a foul being given.
In some games he has been playing against rugby players !.

Yesterday he was pulled to the ground when the defender had his shirt. I thought penalty, nothing given.

He still has 30 goals this season but doesnt look back to full fitness to me yet.

He's having a down season by his standards, no point denying it. He's missed a lot of sitters and seems justifiably frustrated with our midfielders never wanting to play it in behind in any circumstances. He has to adapt to us, but we have to adapt to him as well and players like Bernardo just never play the pass he wants.

I agree with that.

Erling is definitely off form himself and maybe not 100%, but everyone knows by now what type of player he is and if he isn't getting any service then he isn't in the game.

Okay he had a chance at the far post, late on, when he just has to shoot, but i can't remember too many other gilt edged chances he had.
Everyone's knocking him but not even Kev, Phil or Bernie could put a decent ball into the box or play a pass to him and when Grealish and Doku came on, they didn't either.

The lad needs service and, as others have said, surely we need to just play some long balls over the top, or through the defence, to let him use his pace.
If it doesn't come off we have to trust the players to get the ball back, but we need to be a bit braver with our play now we have him.

This constant talk of how many touches he has/dropping off to get involved is boring. We all saw the type of striker that he was before he joined City. Even last season we saw what his game is like, that’s not going to change. Play to his strengths. Comparing him to Sergio as well two completely different players.

Haaland had 7 touches in the first half when City had 75% possession. It is boring pointing it out every now and then, but it needs addressing as people are now questioning his attitude, his general play, his reluctance to make runs as often etc. His confidence looks shot at the moment and he is even missing the ball completely.

The success has gotten to people’s heads that’s the issue mate. They’re fucking spoilt some of the shit I’ve read is crazy. Criticism is fine but put a cap on it at least. Remember when we had actual awful strikers up front.
