Yep, my stats were only for the league, as that is where he has played most of his minutes, and—for me—the best illustration of how he is really just a victim of his own success last season when it comes to the criticism he is getting this season.36 G/A in 36 games in all competitions they said on commentary. He’ll probably go on to be the PL top scorer, FA Cup top scorer, potentially CL top scorer, and some people will say he disappointed this season.

It was really the beginning of last season that set a standard that he or no other player can sustain. He was on course for something like 70 league goals at the rate he was scoring, which is just never going to happen, hence why the premier league record is in the 30s.
His goal scoring ratio this season is not far off what it ended up on last season.
People think that because your ratio is a goal a game pretty much in your career it means that you are going to score every game, but we know doesn't work that way.
People just need to be realistic and be happy we have the most deadly striker in the league and he might not score for a couple of games now and again, that's football.
