is it haaland was carrying something or is it the new fluid attacking line? He looks a different player. I think we were just too static and became really stale possession wise. Now we have foden kev and bernardo buzzing about and rodri further forward because of kovacic.

feel like peps found the formula again.

Kovacic, settling in his role, confident driving forward sort of Moses parting the red sea stuff. Really helps open the game up for us. Haaland will definitely benefit as it makes the opposition defenders come out to engage - they let Kov play a simple one two on the edge of their box - g=creates space for all and even when KDB and Foden the defenders are in the mindset to stop the runner - gives Haaland the space most CF's get. Also, he looks fitter and more determined. Fair play to him. He even scored a decent header

Keane is like a few on here , risk critlicising Haaland and he will have the last laugh , nothing fazes him , whatever pundits throw at him , he has won everything in the game at club level , broken records all over europe and criticism if anything motivates him even more.
He is nowhere near his peak , he has a lot to learn in his general play but you cannot teach him anything about goal scoring , the records are going to keep on falling.
Not necessarily criticism just observations really. I have been a massive fan of Haaland's positive attitude, always strikes me as pretty unique as he seems to be smiling and positive even when having a bad game. I still don't think we play better as a team with big Erling in, it stifles our fluidity. Against a team like Wolves who will probably coast the last few games its a different kettle of fish. Give him any room and Haaland is amazing, that finish and even his rare good header - amazing. Problem for me is when he is playing against a committed and decent defense like Arsenal's and Liverpool's he wants to pit his game against the centre halves. For me he stays too close to them, wants to win a physical battle = pointless and ruins it for the team. I think if he dropped deeper Kane 'esque he would help the team create more problems. He can pass it well as well, has laid off some decent balls (touch needs work of course)

When he was clapping the fans at the end, he tapped his badge which I can’t actually remember him doing at any point.

Obviously a minute detail but a good one nonetheless.

It wasnt just his goals against Wolves his all round play was a vast improvement holding up the ball and winning free kicks , but i still dont understand how defenders are allowed to grab him and try to throw him to the ground with no punishment. Is it an unwritten rule for are centre forward , kick him , grab him , push him it appears to be a free for all , if ref's gave the centre backs an early booking Haaland would tear them apart you can understand why he sometimes gets frustrated no other centre forward in the league endures the shite Haaland recieves for ninety minutes.
Got to be careful we dont go OTT as a fan base if Haaland bags a lot v sorry spuds...WestHam as Moyes leaves a mid table team or a disfunctional utd. Need him to be fit, on it and tactically astute v Arsenal away, Liverpool and Newcastle away next year

He's going to keep improving his all round game and the players will keep improving their understanding of how to play with him. We got knocked out of the CL on penalties but ultimately we've won the lot with him in the side and we're still in a position to win the double this season so he doesn't need to do anything more if we keep winning things. It's not all on one player. We scored three away at Real. They marked him tight but left space for others. That's going to keep happening. We should be going OTT about him, he's a machine and he plays for us - fucking enjoy it!
