Notice on multiple occasions during the Brighton match where Haaland comes deep to get the ball he has a very heavy first touch. I know his touch wasn't the best, but when he has a CB on his back he looks likely to lose the ball rather than control it. The ball just bounces off this foot, and 3 yards forward. Nearly loss possession and has to run after his own first touch.

If you watch Salah, he very rarely does much other than put the ball in the net.

The thing is, when you do it 30 times a season, and regularly, people are willing to gloss over the rest of your game.

Hes leading assists mate. Hes been on fire this season in creating and scoring.

Every season he's been at Liverpool, he's averaged out at 30 goal contributions every single season, with this season being absolutely phenomenal

He's a great player there's no denying that, but he also doesn't do the things that Haaland doesn't do (run, press, defend)

Oh yes agree. Rightly you carry those talents cos of the output. Haaland was bought to put the ball in the net and hes done an amazing job

If you want more from him make him captain. That one time he was he was brilliant. It really galvanized him and upped his contribution.

I wouldn’t be against cashing in this summer, bringing back Delap plus Kane - both of whom bring a lot more to the game than what Haaland does and would replace the raw goal scoring output.
 
He’s the greatest or at least one of a few,and there aren’t many the best goalscorer in world football at this present time, problem is he has mainly had to rely on KDB providing the right balls to him, sooner we get another player who can provide them balls we be laughing for next 9 year

Kane's nearly ready for the knackers yard and as much as I like Delap he wouldn't score anywhere as many goals as Erling.
Big Erl will be banging them in for many years and hopefully at City.

We need to build the team around him not sell him . When we play to his strengths we destroys teams but our problem is we can’t pas a ball .
