If we don't help him find his mojo soon he will be off.

His body language compared to the last couple of seasons is very telling.

He knows he's playing for fuck all silverware this season.
So what? Is this Manchester city or Haaland city? He won’t score any game and if he wants to score to bad then he has to earn the goals. The players ain’t here for him. Also no one wins ever season. And which club is he moving to? Barcelona can’t buy him and he doesn’t suit their playstLe neither does Madrid with Mbappe already . There is no team in the world where he can move to.

He misses a lot even when he gets a decent pass which he did a few times last night. Stop repeating the same shit when he has a bad game. He needs to contribute more himself instead of just waiting for others to create.
That's the first time I've defended him.
He was pissing me off big time around Christmas with his recent performances. Standing up front, not pressing and rarely breaking into a sprint or moving in the box when the ball is out wide.

I just don't think that he was the problem last night.

Make no mistake, guys. He’ll cut us some slack for a while, and rightly so, but he’ll be off if and when the situation and outlook no longer suit him. When you’re one of the world’s best strikers, you’re in control of the agenda, not the club.

And one of the big European clubs will find a way to finance the deal.

We’ll make a mammoth profit though.
If he’s pissed off and wants to go, let him.
We could do with £200m for the rebuild.
Save us £900k a week.

So thats means its ok for him to put in half assed performances ...

Its just his natural body language...

.. give it a rest
He played well last nite , just perhaps pep wants to him hang on the defenders mostly as that is where he is best ? He is good at lay offs and can run when we have a break on , he is also back defending . Last nite he had a bit of an injury that i think he ran off, my commentary noted it

He does have a laid back style but he is a striker who knows where the goal is, edin used to get the same abuse i recall but he also scored heavy goals

I prefer sergio but that is not to say i dont appreciate thor , i want him to get more involved more, maybe pep is happy though

It’s partly because of his attitude and crap finishing that we aren’t in contention for silverware.
He needs to earn and justify his £900k / week instead of blaming everyone else for not laying it on a plate for him.

He averages basically a goal a game. What are you on about?
He might well average a goal a game, but he’s goalless in 43% of his games.

He scores in streaks with a lot of braces/hattricks/+ in a short period, especially at the start of seasons, followed by baron or much lower scoring spells.

This isn’t a criticism of Haaland. My point is that this season’s streaks of goals followed by spells barely scoring is normal for him.

At the start of each season, Erling has scored:

11 goals in the first 8 games
(2019-20, Salzburg)

10 goals in the first 7 games
(2020-21, Dortmund)

7 goals in the first 5 games
(2021-22, Dortmund)

15 goals in the first 10 games
(2022-23, City)

8 goals in the first 6 games
(2023-24, City)

7 goals in the first 3 games
(2024-25, City)

Then across the same seasons, Erling has had this many goalless games and runs without a goal (this excludes all games he was rested or out injured):

14 goalless games out of 40. No more than 2 games without a goal.
(2019-20, Salzburg+Dortmund)

17 goalless games out of 41. No more than 2 games without a goal.
(2020-21, Dortmund)

13 goalless games out of 30. With one run of 5 games without a goal.
(2021-22, Dortmund)

21 goalless games out of 53. He scored just 1 goal in all comps in his last 8 games in the run to the treble.
(2022-23, City)

22 goalless games out of 45. 3 games without a goal once, 4 games without a goal once.
(2023-24, City)

15 goalless games out of 28. 3 games without a goal twice, 4 games without a goal once.
(2024-25, City)

He’s had 102 goalless games out of 237 club games since 2019-20… 43%.

MEN stated £46m a year. Admittedly £10m sponsorship. So yep you’re right we wont save that.
Just call me Boris.
