Thought we really played to Haalands strengths yestersay especially in the second half. Putting long balls over the top to him worked a treat. He's so strong and it looks like he enjoys tussling with defenders and getting the better of them. Holds the ball up well and plays others on. Also opposition often have two defenders on him and this frees up lots of space for the likes of Nunes and Gvardiol to run into as they did yesterday. A Great player, and we are lucky to have him in the side.

People say he is not a "complete" striker like Kane but yesterday shows he has the ability to be.

Can hold up play and provide the key pass to get his man in on goal.
Can observe a situation, beat his man and finesse a shot in when just charging through and hitting the ball hard just won't do.

Plus he has the speed that Harry never had, to break the line and get goals on his own.

Remember he is only 24! If he can avoid major injuries he will be a scary player at 27.

He needs 9 more goals in the remaining games to (once again) overtake Aguero's best season of 26 goals in 2014/15 EPL season

Looked much stronger and more determined, yesterday. Winning his battles in the centre circle made all the difference. Not so much first half but after that...woah! Much more like it.

Despite the goals he has already put in that might suggest he's already the finished article, you can see the man is actually improving in his overall game. Better control of the ball, hold-up and lay-offs.

Do people still think we're a better team with him? Every underlying metric says no, which backs up what my eyes tell me.

In his defense, Txiki did an awful job building around him, which is what you need to do. He's incapable of pressing, and we have no legs in midfield to make up for it. You need a prime Fernandinho/Bernaro, Declan Rice, etc., to make up the ground for him.

When we play to his fucking strentghts rather than fuck about with this stupid possession game yeah we're a good team with him, every chance we had in this game was via crosses and of course we barely made any crosses, we saw against Chelsea what happens when we play direct to him, and you think if Marmoush starts instead it will be different ? and not the same shit with Marmoush making constant runs and getting ignored by Stones, Akanji and the other fuckers ?

You're second paragraph has contradicted your first one.

He didn't play with dinho and Bernardo spent the majority of his season on the wing.
