Totally agree.He was dropping deep more and doing link-up against Forest. I just don't understand why one game he's asked to do that, and not most games. I felt he always looks better when he's given more freedom to maneuver.
More movement out wide and dropping deep drags defenders away from the box leaving space for others. As we saw v forest, goals for KDB, Doku and Silva.
Love to know what the genuine alternative is if this lad ever gets injured. False 9 is just wishful thinking, it worked before when we had goal scoring wingers and energy in midfield. We barely have enough midfielders to cover midfield.

It is still a no in cashing in for me. The only questions are whether to alter our playing style to get the very best out of him (although 108 goals in 120 negates that a bit), what does he really need to improve in his game and whether we should consider Foden as cover for Haaland (although not on current form).
