Overall play is much more involved.

Thats what we need to see.

Even if he doesnt score, we need to see him involving the other attackers like this.

So glad we seem to be using him in more areas of the game and not just finishing. He has a really good understanding of link-up play and does it very well. There’s a lot more to his game than he’s seemingly been allowed to use since he came.

Love it when he's on it.
It makes the people who write him off look even more stupid.
Said it millions of times.
He's simply the best around.
I said after the spurs home game savinho needed to step up.
Last few game he has.
And they both look so much better for it

Fantastic. It's almost as if somebody realised if you play to a man's strengths. He will be more likely to deliver...

You could see the stark difference in Haalands alertness when the ball was on our left compared to the right, he knew the ball might come in from the left and looked sharp everytime it went out there, not so much when we had it on the right with little chance of the ball actually coming in.

His link up and hold up was excellent, I've defended him from recent criticism for that as we often just lump it to him out of desperation with no actual plan and leaving him to fight a losing battle so it's no wonder he hasn't looked good in those departments. When we actually plan to get him involved and he can anticipate it coming and crucially, players behind him can actually get close to him too, it works much more effectively.

I'm still convinced pep doesn't want him as involved in the game because it increases the risk of injury, an injury we have zero backup for. If we actually get somebody else in this window, I'd wager we would see haaland involved more knowing that we wouldn't be royally screwed if he picks up a knock.

That finish for his second was brilliant, the little half delay/dummy to sit the keeper first was us watching a master at work.

Should be given the week off now, not even on the bench next weekend.

You know.. we are shit defensively and while pressing..

Who knew it seems to make a difference if we actually try to find our Viking center forward vs the old sideways, sideways, sideways, backwards, sideways, sideways, sideways, sideways, backwards, sideways, sideways..

Like actual worlds of difference!

Listen to pep after match press conference he wants a millions passes side to side back to goalie side to side lose the ball transition 1 down! Problem with keep the ball at all cost players a scared to cross the ball!

According to this, if we are lucky enough for Haaland to be part of City, stay healthy and play 390 games as Sergio did, he would score 347 goals.

Not bad.

His eye for detail is incredible, he's chipped it against Areola, scored the same goal against him for his record breaking goal two seasons ago as he knows he will dive early.

Him never being offside either is ridiculous.
