And some people insulted me when I criticized Pep for it, "oh it's easy in hindsight", no it's easy because it made absolutely no sense for Marmoush to get hooked after 60 minutes when he barely played in the first leg against Madrid while Haaland who has been playing 90 minutes non stop since the start of the season stayed on for over 80 minutes.

We finally have another forward and instead of giving Erl some rest when the game was done he leaves him on risking an injury right before the Madrid second leg and Liverpool, just another inexplicable decision from Pep.
Pep doesn't have a crystal ball.
An injury can happen at any time.
In training or when ever.
Let's hope it's not bad.

Again you don't need a crystal ball, Haaland has had injury problems in his career and you need to manage his minutes, there was no need for him to be on the pitch after an hour with so many tough games coming up and the game wrapped up.

Agreed - that was my one criticism of the Newcastle match

Didn’t need a crystal ball to see he was injured . As soon as he went down he should have been hooked simple as that and even if he thought he could run it off and now once again we have an injury .

Thats not looking good at all , for fuck sake.
Right at the moment he chasing Salah...

Fack fack fack

Probably2 biggest games of the year and our own stupidity has took our main striker out .

the man got hurt a minute before the substitution break where he was supposed to go out!!

holy shit I don't think he will be there until the end of the season
this injury is on Pep, he had to replace him earlier against Newcastle

Absolutely criminal that he was allowed to carry on when mcatee scored against the toon . When he went down he should have been pulled straight away
I think the damage was done when he landed with his leg straight, after flicking the header onto McAtee, not when it subsequently buckled from the run he made from the restart.
Either way, knees don’t buckle unless something has gone wrong structurally and it’s concerning that we don’t really appear to have established what the issue is

Yet another fucked up decision this season to still have Haaland on the pitch at 3-0 v Newcastle beyond 60-70 minutes.
I now fear the club are not telling us the real extent of the injury (which did not look good), and he could be out for months

He (and Rodri when we've had him) sets the tone for the team physically. Without him we look toothless and out-manned.

He lost the ball a lot today. I don't know why Pep is so reluctant to take him off when we're trying to see out games.

With that being said, VAR robbed him.

Because he should have been given another goal at the end?

You don't take Haaland off at any stage in big games. He's our best player and biggest goal threat.

I understand, but during the second half, it was like playing with ten men. Sometimes, I wish Pep would bring someone in with fresh legs to help us see out games and press more from the front.
