It is of no surprise that you would think this.

Who could and would?"he needs to give his head a wobble, needs to improve as a footballer"
100% agree but why the hell did we give him a 10 year deal, he looks and acts like he is in the comfort zone already, if he gets pissed off next season he will be off and another mug will offer him 500k a week plus.
Ibrahimovic warned us all that Pep would try to destroy Haalands game & he was bang on. Pep doesn't want anybody else to be the star, only himself.
Exactly this notably the total goals scored by “the team” and thereby failing to edge results especially like yesterdayThe facts speak for themself, prior to his arrival as a team we scored more goals. Whilst he scores a bucket full individually, the stats would suggest it is at the cost of others chipping in as before. We don't play to his strengths so we either need to or fuck him off. There is no point otherwise, even more so when the only guy who assists him is leaving in the summer.
I have been battered all season saying he hampers us as a side, no coincidence that our best run this season has been without him. It allows a bit more movement and freedom up front. Not taking the penalty was a disgrace though, unforgivable. For a man who offers next to nothing in a game but goals, then he has to take the lead in situations like that because otherwise, again, what's the point in him? Sorry Erling, you let us all down yesterday and on the biggest stage.
Can’t create his own chances, massive downgrade on Aguero. We function much better without him.
If we play to his strengths, we make him the only end product in our team, we become predictable.
10 year contract is absolutely fucking insane.
I will defend him pretty heavily on this. The facts speak for themself, prior to his arrival as a team we scored more goals. He can’t go from a world class player to a useless one all of a sudden. The system is not suiting his abilities and we are not playing to his immense strength.
That’s a good question and will no doubt get a few responses.Would u really rather sell him than find a better way to play to his strengths?
I understand the opinion based on what we see (or don’t see) from Haaland outside the box and in the channels. Yet this guy, who some believe doesn’t fit our style of play, is more prolific than any other player within it.
We all loved Sergio but people have seemingly forgotten how often there was obvious differences in what Pep wanted and what Sergio delivered. Sergio wasnt a guaranteed starter under Pep, despite people now believing that Sergio was far more suited to a Pep side. Sergio also had the advantage of being provided ammunition by a prime KDB and Silva and ably supported out wide by Sterling and Sane. Look what Haaland is working with this season.
Haaland is perfect fit for a fully-functioning Pep side. This side isn’t that and yet he still has 30 goals this season.
This season yes, I am talking that the year before Haaland as a team we scored more goals without a striker. We remained successfully since his arrival but we are consistently scoring less team goals since his arrival. I am not talking about an individuals return, as a team we score less goals. That is because we are easy to defend against and lack any ideas other than trying to pass it into the net via Haaland. Not Haalands fault, the manager needs to play to his strengths and make it work. It doesn't currentlyI will defend him pretty heavily on this.
The squad has been neglected since he signed. How have we replaced goalscorers from midfield like Mahrez, Prime-Sterling, Prime-Gundo? Foden has never scored more than he did playing off Haaland but he has fallen off a cliff individually this season.
I agree. Completely lost his bollocks for me there. The facts speak for themself, prior to his arrival as a team we scored more goals. Guardiola treated Sergio like shit, mist likely because Sergio was far more popular than he was.
The big shithouse supposedly 'playing' up front yesterday doesn't deserve to be at City next season.
