Just said this in the OM thread. Considering Big Erl makes a point of venturing to the back post, you’d think he’d attack crosses like Marmoush did today but he doesn’t.

He’s missing out on 5/10 extra goals a season.

i often accuse him of being stuck in the far post but honestly, he's not even stuck in the far post. if he was in the far post he might have scored chances like marmoush's today. the problem is that he's stuck slightly above the penalty spot and is not attacking the 6 yard box, far post or near post. that's the actual issue.

When's the last time we put a ball like that in? Not like he's failing to connect to those kind of deliveries every week. That ball was very much a rarity, nunes is the only one who deliveries that kind of ball and only when he's allowed to support the attack and isnt forced into the walker role.

we don't put balls in like that because he's not in that position, ever. we often deliver decent crosses into the box and he's nowhere near the ball
