I always want him to score to reward his hard work. Watching him last night, I was reminded about his excellent performance in Madrid.

What's impressed me with the last two games the most is the little first time flick-ons. Much like with Sterling the big worry with Jesus is confidence so when he's trying and succeeding with a lot of this stuff it's a telling sign ahead.

On another note, his movement was a nuisance for Burnley.

Defo purposeful, the cues give it away to me.

Jesus honestly reminds me alot of Benzema at Real. I think Benzema is often underrated at Madrid as well.

He scores goals, albeit not as lethal as Aguero, his passing is often underrated and he can comfortably drift to the wings (unlike Aguero) and still be a threat. Combined with incredible stamina I would be ecstatic if he is our main man after Aguero, he fits us better imo.

Benzema is an incredibly underrated player. People really don't grasp how ridiculously hard it is to be Madrid's striker for 11+ years, with Perez looking for the next big thing to bring in all the time, but every coach has always wanted Benzema to stay. 244 goals and 133 assists in 505 games.

His supporting role when Ronaldo was the goalscorer was really important, he linked the two wings together, played as a 10, and covered for him defensively, and as soon as Ronaldo left, he started scoring because that's what they needed.

Madrid's best player these days.

Fully agree. I know it's because Real Madrid fans are quite crazy, but they still confuse me when they boo Benzema and I'm like "He's your best player".

I only watch Real and Barcelona due to time and stuff, but if Jesus can become what Benzema is I'd be so happy. If he surpasses him then he is probably becoming one of the world's best, best thing is he is still very young with so much more time to develop.

Assist of the season?

And don't start with "scuffed shot" bollocks, there is no way in hell that was a shot if you look at the way he hits it.

Shot. Tried to adjust his stride pattern and hit it towards goal. But attempting to alter his stride pattern caused him to get the timing wrong.

Defo not a shot. He instantly looked where the ball was going, which is unlikely from a miss-hit. He obviously tried to disguise it(maybe did it too well for some) but on the wide-angle shot, notice the lean backwards as well. Again not what you'd normally see if he was going for a shot. It was flick with the side foot, he's rather good at that.
