I think he is still a little bit overweight and stamina has lowered / declined since Covid situation..

i.e not in his best form..

But at least he has started to score the goals and that's great...

P.S But if our main team looks like this, when all the players are available:

---------------ederson-----------------
walker---stones-----dias-----cancelo
-----------------Rodri-------------------
-----------debr-------gundo-----------
---sterling----XXXXX---------Foden--

My picking list would be in the big games:

0) Aguero (Considering he regains his form)
1) Bernardo
2) Mahrez
3) Jesus
4) Torres

So, GJ has to improve and first of all in terms of weight / stamina...

Fair enough some goals finally from him recently, still feel like he should be much more dominant in the box and covert more but 3 goals in recent week is maybe a good step foward from him.

Hope he doesnt go blank in next couple heavy PL games we need a good performance from him upfront given Kun is probably still far away from being in top form and playing regularly.

IF it's business as usual, Jesus will score his 100th City goal at 24 y.o.

Genuine question, how many City players scored 75 goals for the club before turning 24?

Not many.
Doesn't stop em moaning though does it.
Took Gundogan until he was 30, until many realised he was an elite footballer.

Jesus goalscoring record isn't that bad when looking at minutes played etc. But when you put it in terms of how many goals he has scored in the PL each season for us:

7
13
7
14
4 (so far this season).

I think people are expecting his numbers to improve/explode. Hasn't happened yet.

didn't he get 18 last season in the league?

Hopefully Pep will start Jesus against the Dippers a genuine poacher/ striker against two centre halves who have never played together or hardly at all has got to be a threat , Jesus has good movement and will harass their back four all day long.

Didn't do much, although there was some nice gamesmanship near the end and he gave us a better shape.

Maybe I can credit him for getting in Alisson's head in the buildup to the second.

He changed the game, he's a genius presser, the way he cut out the passing lane to Wijnaldum whilst slowly closing Allison down put the keeper in panic mode. Our whole front line started pressing when he came on as they match his energy, we were standing off their backline before and trying to win it in midfield(Rodri at his best). It's mental how under-appreciated he is by our fan base.
