Definitely, every jesus topic you are just waiting for kaz , she needs to realise people just raise their eyebrows at her blinkered jesus post, I love sergio but he can't do it at the moment, I still think he's got an important goal or 5 in him though, late on when jesus has run the opposition ragged

What's so bizarre is that Kaz and I defended Sterling for years when he did nothing as exceptional as that should-have-been-assist for Cancelo, because we saw potential in him and thought he was being judged unfairly by some people on the forum.

But now instead of giving another young player a chance, there's been this non stop stream of snide attacks for 3 years, like she's trying to outdo the people she was so critical of in the Sterling thread.

You can see it in the reasoning "Sterling would get slaughtered for that!" - Yeah and @kaz7 would be the first person saying that was unfair. Don't stoop to the level of people you objected to.

Raz doesnt get away with that sort of thing

How many years is he going to get to be more than holding it up ?
Yeah, but don't you agree that Sterling gets too much hate, I know this because we have defended him alot.

Don't go down to the level of posters who give Sterling flack by giving it to Jesus, just be the same towards both.

I think we all know Jesus is low on confidence in his finishing, but we have also seen some great finishes by him, he has earned that time.

It's the rest of his game that is so strong and better than Sergio that Pep chooses him time and time again.

He has been here for four years , he can play anywhere but as our main striker , he needs sergio or haaland or someone to score . Every time i read he holds the ball up well i cringe , dont call or wish him to be the main striker because he is not that , hardly contraversal i would have thought , i dont want to sell him like some

really good at football. very intelligent and hardworking.

Makes a lot of bad decisions though. We need a proper finisher up top, if they can provide what he does.

Wouldn't be on bench if he wasn't
It's not just about fitness. He's barely played in a year. He's going to be lacking sharpness.

Plus he's at a massive risk of reinjury, which is why he needs to wait longer before he can actually play again.

Why he's not subbed on is probably more coincidental. Pep's barely used his subs this season.

We’re on the longest winning streak in the 130+ year history of top-flight English football. I’d argue we don’t need anything
