You have to keep improving while you're on top and signing a geniune goalscorer like Haaland will improve this team.

Jesus is great, but I don't think he's going to be our long term solution to the number 9 role. I view him as a versatile forward that we should be predominantly be playing on the left hand side and would be a very servicable backup striker when we need to rotate our starting striker.

That passage of play when he took it out the air on his chest, and skipped past 2 players and got taken down, wow, top top stuff.

Love the guy, offers a lot for us especially with his work rate, but he's not a natural finisher and it shows, want him to stay a long time, but he can't be our number 1 ST/CF unless we get a winger who can score 20/30 goals a season to make up for it.

Get Haaland and have this guy as the backup striker/play him out wide and we'll be even better.

Agree if only he was a tad more clinical we would not need a Sergio replacement.

Hppefully we sign someone like Haaland to play with Jesus. His future is in creating for others I think, while still contributing 15-20 goals himself

While some are so shortsighted they wont hear of it.......That thinking should apply to every player.Currently i think we have half a dozen that fit the bill.
