He needs to sort out his offsides, he puts himself out of play lots of time. That being said, I agree with other posters, he is a very good LW. He can come inside, dribble and shoot easily.

Missed a big chance. I think he needs to consistently score goals/assists or he will forever remain just a backup.

I'd really like to see Pep use him as a winger. Would give us the opportunity of having Aguero, Jesus and Torres/Sterling in the same frontline.

I thought he was poor yesterday playing wide a lot of the time with Sterling in the middle.

Maybe it would be different if it was Aguero he was playing off but it didn't quite seem to work.

Back up to who? He’ll be our main striker this season
Next season when we get a new striker! Let's be honest he is there and we are still missing Aguero and desperately want him to get fit and return.

Can we get a top striker for 60m! :) Was obvious we needed to spend big on a top class striker in the summer but instead we wasted time on the Messi wild goose chase.

You are right. We should have got a decent striker instead of wasting time on the messi situation . So Wasteful considering the amount of chances created. I hope goals return soon or it will be a difficult season. Screenshot_2020-11-26-16-28-18-919_com.android.chrome~2.jpg

It wasn't a good performance for him - after the last two goals I expected more consistency and courage from him to lead the team, especially in this situation when literally all the players fighting for the front five places are in a very bad form and nowhere near the level - top team expects from them..

Problem is lack of leadership - literally every one is afraid to take control and do something individually in the final third. Everyone tries to handle this responsibility to another and no one is ready to take it, except maybe Debruyne...

In my opinion he blew very hot and cold.

His good moments tended to happen when somebody was near him making a run. He's got a very creative side, so when someone is moving near him he can play a little throughball, a little flick, or even use the run as a diversion so he can dribble. It's not the highest quality example but his role in the goal was an example nonetheless.

When he's isolated, he's weaker on the right. He's not quite fast enough to go on the outside so he has to be clever, and last night he got sloppy out there (I don't think he was alone).

If he's going to be isolated you need him somewhere fairly central or left so he can hold up the play or dribble more directly, like against Tottenham.
