9 more wins from 11 games

If we get our free scoring form back, we can make do with 1 draw or loss from 10 games.

Given our fixtures, for me this is becoming to be a big ask unless chesea drops points.
As Chelsea can only get 90 pts, 9 wins & a draw is a cert. as things stand 9 wins likely to do it as we have a much superior gaol difference.

I have Chelsea down to win 6 of there last 7 games (hopefully wrong) maybe dropping points at Liverpool.this would give them 87 points should they lose.therefore city need 8 wins from the last 10 giving us 87 points also (better goal difference).think Liverpool will bottle results eventually.
Win our home games and palace away meaning 2 wins from rags arsenal Liverpool and Everton will do it......if we win the derby we win the league!!!!!
This is just my opinion of course.
:-)

87 points will do it if we have the better goal diff. Win the home games and 3 away and we're home and dry. We could even lose to Arse and Pool.

There. I said it.

given our bad start to the season away from home then I am just pleased to be in a position where it is completely in our own hands, as difficult as the away games are.

Also just over a week ago when we were 0-0 and down to 10 men away at Hull, having just been told by Radio Manchester that Vinny would be banned for 3 matches, I pretty much thought that was the League gone - since then we won 2, Chelsea lost at Villa, I would have taken it then, and I still would now.

COME ON CITY

I'm not feeling particularly confident about the run in, our form hasn't been that great of late, and for sometime, Chelsea, Liverpool both seem to be in the groove, peaking at the right time, and with our main man Aguero out for a few more weeks, and our other strikers out of sorts, our ability to score has been vastly reduced. But for our wonderful midfield stepping up we'd be out of the title race, so now it's time for our strikers to say thanks midfield, but it's our turn to contribute, so where better than at OT on tuesday night?
I just hope we can play ourselves back into form, and that Pellegrini gets his tactics right for these big games, starting at OT, and then against Liverpool, which for me, more than Arsenal away, is the crunch game

So many twist and turns to come yet,but come 7:25 Saturday night we will know if we're in with a great chance or very slim.these 2 games back to back are going to be very nervy for all of us to go through, but we can do it,these players know what it takes,I just hope we can take a minimum of 3 points from these games or itl be slipping away

Do some of you have no belief in our team? I see wins against United, Arsenal and Southampton. Liverpool is the only game that slightly concerns me, but if we adopt a counter-attacking approach, we should be able to exploit their leaky defense, a draw would do though.
Some of you don't realize how good we are.

A crucial fact has to be that Chelsea and Liverpool have to play each other so one or both of them MUST drop points from here on.

If Chelsea win all their remaining games and Liverpool win all theirs apart from v Chelsea we can still 'afford' one loss ( v Liv): MC 90 CHE 90 LIV 86

If Liverpool win all their remaining games and Chelsea win all theirs apart from v Liverpool we can still 'afford' one loss (v LIV): MC 90 LIV 89 CHE 87

If Liverpool and Chelsea draw and then win all their other games we can still 'afford' one loss (v LIV) and even a draw too against another team: MC 90 (or 88 with a draw as well) CHE 88 LIV 87.

Obviously with all the above scenarios goal diff could be crucial. The other way to look at it is just WIN ALL THE GAMES CITY! As Happy Gilmore might say, 'Just put the ball in the hole! That's much simpler!'
