9 wins and a draw

I think what pisses some people off is not that other people have an opinion on Mancini, but the fact that some posters are arrogant enought to think they know better than him. Second guessing everything with the benefit of 20/20 hindsight after a game.

Nothing wrong with saying "He did this wrong etc" but its usually put across as "I would have done this/anyone with sense knew that would never work etc" and there is a subtle difference between the two.

Where are the Mancini doubters that compared his points total to Hughes after every match?
In fact, how come the media have stopped doing that?!

Right on the fucking point mate

I'm left wondering what is the point of a fans Forum if not to bounce around questions that you may have regarding the team/the manager/the fans/the balti pies etc etc? I'd say Mancini is doing a good job and I'm delighted with the start we've made to this season, but this doesn't mean I think the manager has got everything right. For example, I wouldn't have taken Silva off at Fulham and replaced him with Zab, I wouldn't have taken Lescott out of the starting line up at Munich and replaced him with Kolo, I would have tried my utmost to keep Tevez onside by giving him as much game time as I could. Does this mean that I think I know better than Mancini? Not really. These are just questions that are on my mind and I'm interested if my fellow blues share these concerns or have the answers. Isn't this what Bluemoon is for?

i wonder if mancini would get these results without the hundreds of millions pumped in ?
its more this thats brought the success than him ,and i cant beleive this makes him such a god . surely hes not immune to critisism ,for me he is tactically suspect and still too slow for our league
frank clarke would have us as succesful with that money !!

Get an idea how much MILLIONS the well respected highly regarded Martin O'Neill did spent at Villa?? TONS and did achieve what??? NOTHING that i remember of, as he quite his Aston millions Villa he create were first class double shit fighting relegation team.

As for Mancini
without the hundreds of millions he won 5 trophies with Inter , won Seria A title first season in charge and was Inter 1st trophy after 37y trophy-less

Mancini won the Coppa Italia (Italian FA Cup) with both Fiorentina and Lazio who did not have much money at the time. This is why he got the Inter job because he was impressive at Lazio. Fiorentina was his first job and not very successful besides his cup win but he was excellent at Lazio - they were in serious financial trouble and had to sell Crespo and other top players, those that stayed had to take massive pay cuts, and he got them as high as 4th in Serie A - which got Inter calling.

Comparing O'Neill to Mancini is an absolute disgrace, O'Neill did OK with Villa but has shown absolutely nothing in his long managerial career to suggest he deserves a top job. One "major" (SPL) trophy in his entire managerial career and he's 60. It'd be an obvious step back and people should see this.

Mancini is one of Europe's top managers now and we're lucky to have him.

Dare to compare, I am Mancio's biggest fan it goes way back since Lazio days when was playing for the "Bianco Celeste". top class player become a top top manager no need telling me I already know.... I was only laying out the SPENDING part on O'Neil
