Really enjoyed that. As others have said, I could have happily listened to a full 2 hours of it. Looking forward to the follow up.
Got around to listening to it today. Like a good book once I began I couldn't stop. Can't wait for the podcast about the year of Thaksin. Strange days indeed. So many great insights and I was completely unaware at just how close we've come to folding so recently let alone before my time. You'll have my £4 a month from down under once it's all up and running. Top podcast. Better than that it's top, top.

Be interested to know if there's a particular season, or a particular figure from our history, that you'd like to know more about?
Obviously I'm currently working on one about King Colin as I was far too young to ever see him in the flesh. Rounding up people who remember him to do a pod on his career at City!

Would love to know more about what went on behind the scenes with the Swales era Ahsan, the Man was the single most destructive individual in the clubs history but the rest of the board seemed to give him carte Blanche to do as he pleased even with the Boler influence propping him up he seemed to have so much power ,it was all decidedly dodgy and underhand, I never subscribed to the view that he loved City it was in my eyes just an ego trip and he loved being the chairman of a top club and being high up in the FA. I suspect it was all before yours and Stefan's time but short of Bernard Halford spilling the beans it might be hard to find somebody in the know.

Just listened in full and as someone who has always been fascinated with City's history, read practically every book that's been out over the years and seen every video and dvd and I found this a really interesting listen.
Like most fans I had an idea about a lot that that happened at the club but never knew in this much detail. For example I knew we were skint but not that skint!
I have to say we have an incredible history. It might not always have been littered with trophies and European cups etc but there can't be any other club out there with as many stories to tell as we have.
