For me, the most significant moment of the 2011 semi-final was when Gareth Barry hit the side netting. That was our first real chance and seemed to be the start of us believing we could win it and overtake them.

Up till then we’d been nervous, lacking belief and could’ve been 1 down.

After that we became twice the team.

We stared them down with some really good team, and individual, performances .....Mario showed what a good player he could be and they couldn’t handle him.

The manner of the victory and the belief it generated amongst the players and fans was the turning point for most events that have happened since.

Sergio’s goal was a defining moment......the semi win was the defining game.

Aguero easily but I voted Yaya v United as it was the first major goal of the new untypical City revolution. And I ended up on my back about four seat rows infront. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a replay of any of this game bar the goal but I have a memory of Berbatov missing an absolute tap in from about three yards at 0-0, that would have certainly made it a whole different game. I think just before or just after it, he had another really good chance that Hart saved.

They missed two sitters in the same move early in the game. One was Berbatov, can't remember the other. My sphincter convulsed so hard at that moment I nearly filled my pants. Yaya also missed a sitter to make it 2-0 near the end.

the huge thing that yaya's semi final goal did Vs rags was made me 100% confident we would go on to lift the fa cup. Imagine being a city fan and feeling confident that a trophy was coming our way and we where in the semis
