93:20, Yaya's semi-final goal vs Utd or Yaya's FA Cup winner?

Which was the more pivotal goal?

93:20 is a genuinely iconic moment in sports.

You can argue Yaya's goals in the 2011 cup run or Balotelli's in the 6-1 might have been more pivotal in City's history (I'd disagree personally but sure, there's an argument, they certainly flipped the switch so to speak), but 93:20 is one of the most recognizable moments in modern football history.

Yaya goal at newcastle the week before QPR was as important if not more so as his semi final.

His winner for the Cup started our trophy runs so vastly imprtant moment for the club and fans

Agueros though and the nature of it spectaclular and memorable.

but pivitol ? to start us being in the trophy hunt again then Yayas v Stoke, beating the rags in the semi would have meant fuck all in the long run if we had lost the final

even after the aguero goal though we had 4 inconsistant years and plodded along picking up a trophy or two but not at the level we now are so I would say the most pivitol to this present era is Jesus goal at Southampton to give us the 100 points, that catipulted us to the next level

Yaya's winner vs ManUre. This match was a game changer. It was the first time in 20+ years that we matched & bettered the Rags & the belief it gave us launched the Manchester City we see today.

ManUre also sensed the significance of this defeat too, because it was at this point they realised that City were now the real deal, hence their on-field, post-match collective meltdown... :-)

If Ya Ya hadn't scored that goal someone else would, whether in the 90 or in extra time. even if we'd lost it wouldn't have affected the club's future and would be forgotten about now. Sergio's goal became part of the history of the club, one of our biggest moments.

I'll also argue until I'm blue in the face that without it, Pep would have come that summer and we would now have several Champions Leagues under our belt. So its 93-20 all the way for me.

I disagree entirely, losing another close game to the rags at that point would have broken us, we could have taken the disappointment into the league and not secured top 4. Then no Aguero or Nasri come in and Mancini probably gets sacked.

He’s. It talking about that goal. He’s talking about stoke.

Sergio, because that broke the rags into pieces , they thought they were champions for three mins , that damage was terminal in the battle for the city

From (dodgy) memory, we were distinctly second best in the first half. I'm pretty sure Berbatov missed at least one absolute sitter. We were much better in the second half.
