Apparently we have over 50 million "fans" now so 99% outside of Manchester might not be far off the truth, as for the match going fans not a chance 99% come from outside of Manchester or more correctly Greater Manchester.

Then they should say whether they are referring to Manchester City Football Club based in Manchester or if they are referring to all the other clubs within the group as well.
Naturally there will be lots of fans from outside Manchester for the other 14 or so within the group.
The Chief Marketing and fan experience officer should surely have the intelligence to understand that?
