The Air Ambulance just landed across the road from me and my neighbour, who's an A&E consultant, went rushing across to it. I thought there was some sort of major incident but it turned out to be a guy with a heart problem who needed airlifting to Wythenshawe.
The daft thing is by the time it had landed, the ambulance had arrived with the patient, they'd got him out and into the helicopter, the police had cleared the area and the thing took off, they could have got there on the M60.
