M67, over woodhead pass towards Sheffield, pick up M1 and come off for M18. Follow M18 to the A1 probably would have been less congested.

Unless you've set off from Yorkshire of course

M1 had long delays between Sheffield and Leicester

Got there on time, been out drinking in Monchengladbach, just rolled in after a few gluweins and brandys
