I'm no fan of Nero, but that's a taste issue, they aim for the very dark Robusta flavour. Some coffee cultures genuinely prefer it to the smooth Arabica.

I used to sell Costa, when it was owned by the Costa brothers and it’s very good coffee blend of 7 beans 1 part robusta 6 arabica if made well.Trouble is first Whitbread then Coke took it over and expanded it into a big brand.and quality control was lost,I can go into a Costa and get a terriblle coffee, but I know it’s going to be terrible when I see it poured. It isn’t the cofffee, I could fix their coffee in 5 minutes by sorting out their grinder.Costa is usually regarded as the best on the high street? Good arabica coffee, baristas tend to know what they are doing.
