A disgraceful undermining of the Ticket Points system - again

Chas seems to think that anyone should be allowed to apply for a ticket with no restrictions.
Not actually my point is why should a season ticket holder get priority
1,there already rewarded for being season ticket holders .

2 season tickets are for league games
Not cup Games.

3,if a season ticket is given priority over cup games for loyaty what about the members who attend as many games put pay more per game
Why ain’t they rewarded for there loyalty

Not getting involved in that mate.

What I will say is it’s not right that the system prevents me being able to sit with my child, therefore prevents us both from going.
Fair enough. I understand where you're coming from regarding your daughter. A cynic would say that you should've joined an OSC!

If they join the Cup schemes it's my understanding that they will get an element of priority.

We did. But I can’t get us to most of the meetings due to work commitments so we don’t have enough “points” to compete with the cunts who go to every meeting, match, match showing and piss up cos they have fuck all else in their lives apart from City.

Ok well done so I’m sure your not the only blue who attend games for 50 yrs and not a season ticket holder .

For one he might not have the money to stump up all at once
A season ticket holder commits for a minimum of 19 games per season by paying up front. They have to attend a minimum number of games or risk losing their status. Individual members, with the greatest of respect, can pick and choose games without penalty. That also comes with the territory. There’s no way members should get priority over someone with a season ticket.

Ok fair enough but that doesn’t change the aspect of my point your already awarded for your loyalty it still remains a member could still attend as many games as a season ticket holder.and pay per game . There seems no loyalty to that member if they choose not to be
In the Cup scheme.

Can you be clear on what reward a season ticket holder gets in your mind please outside some priority for additional tickets?

Y
You've not been on here very long, have you? Do you know that you can pay for an ST in 10 monthly payments?
I’ve not look in to season tickets prices I agree but have been a member offer a long period of time . I’m not actually one who normally goes for discount on things but have given it a thought lately.
Dose the 10 month scheme have to be paid in before the season starts .

Yep less cost per game.
Have you tried getting a season card/Flexi they released last season? Season cards are the price bracket you choose for whatever area of the ground you sit and you can pay monthly over 10 months, first payment is July and last one is April

Guaranteed the same seat for every home game, cheaper tickets, easier access to away tickets, discounts from the club shop. Maybe others that I can't think of.
That' what is actually being paid for, not a side benefit of a different purchase.

I think the other poster was questioning that if ST holders already get the benefit of their guaranteed seat for every home match at reduced prices, why there should be additional benefits such as priority for away/cup games as well (if I have understood his point correctly).

There is a simple answer to that question.

Season ticket holders commit to pay for the whole season and not just cherry-pick the big matches and ignore mid-week matches against the likes of Fulham.

I know some in the club would like to sell more tickets to tourists and less to season ticket holders but ultimately they need to fill the stadium for less attractive fixtures especially in seasons where the club are not doing so well.

Yep that’s it
