A game of two halves

Spot-on. Savinho and Doku are great box to box but are not good finishers. This is a huge problem. Sane and Mahrez always chipped in with goals. They need to step up quickly.
include the useless nunes in that too
savinho and doku all excitement and flair and usually no end product.

You could see Brighton coming back into it towards the end of the first half which was worrying and the save Ederson made from the header in the 2nd half was a wake up call.

At the other end no one else is scoring apart from Haaland. We haven’t scored more than one goal in a game since we beat a very poor Sparta Prague side.
Due to circumstances we've become a 30 minute team.

Good point. We've actually played some very decent 1st half stuff.

If we don't get some players back to fitness in the next 2/3 weeks, there'll have to be a big tactical change though.

I suggest that we start parking the bus - and at Anfield, park 2 of the fuckers.
Fans crying over losing 4 in a row, better buckle up because I can't think of 2 worse opponents to face after the International break .... if any of our 'injured' defenders play before then for their countries, questions need to be asked.

And we only have 1 player who can score. Madness for the Champions!!
Just looking at goalscorers this season compared to last.

Last season we had 4 players in double figures:
Haaland, with 38 in 45 games
Foden, with 27 in 54 games
Alvarez, with 19 in 53
Bernardo, with 12 in 48.

This seem so far, it's:
Haaland with 15 in 16 games
Stones, with 3 in 10
Kovacic with 3 in 15
Gvardiol with 3 in 18
Nunes and Foden, both with 3 in 14
Gundogan has 1 in 15
Bernardo has 1 in 16

We've got two defenders and a more defensive midfielder as 3 of our top 6 scorers.

I wish Clubs had more power over their players going on international duty. We’re utterly shagged. It would be great to able to give the players 2 weeks off. We won’t even get a summer break for goodness sake.

We’re in line for some right dickings in the next month .
Why did it not occur to City that an increased number of games using a small ageing tired squad was a risky recipe for continued success.
Playing that overly strong side v tottenham has cost us all of this,or at least contributed when
we knew we were throwing it/going out of the carabao, akanje injured in the warm up,dias and stones injured playing in a game we lost anyhow, twas madness and come back to bite us on our arse bigtime.
