Be really happy if the Torres deal is dead and we have moved on.
Actually I would be more than happy I would be estatic. For me hes definately doing an Owen, another player, like Gerrard ruined by Liverpool playing week in week out when they are injured and not fully match fit.
He will come back but will be a shadow of himself, I honestly believe the damage that has ben done to him is permanent now though its not a case as some have said about giving him a rest and nursing back to full fitness.
Add to this a sensible deal would be almost impossible to conclude with Liverpool, they are in financial meltdown and want a daft amount of money for a player whos best days are well and truley behind him now. They say they want £100 million for him even if they were willing to take £50 million how is that sensible with his injury record and David Villa a better and non injury prone player costing £32 million this summer.
I would be over the moon with Dzeko and Koralov as our final business, Milner would be OK as long as its not the daft money + player deals that have been mentioned. As long as we Keep Tevez and Ade and signed Dzeko I could live with Ibra as well if it means getting rid of Robinho.
I do fee Ibra is one of the most overated players on the planet though and will, like many top fowards comming italy in the past get badly found out in the prem. Much better option that RSC though, a big name for the owners and anything that gets rid of Robinho for a reasonable return has to be seen as good business.
Really hope we retain Bellamy, Richards and Ireland, I feel they could make a big contribution still as cover for the first team and to play in all the cup games. I would like Nedum to stay as well but he really has burned his bridges that badly I cant see anyway back for him, you dont slag off the manager on tv and get away with it. On balance if we sign Milner I cant see anyway Ireland will stay.
Also I really hope we dont do something stupid like Kaka, I would hope we have learned that lesson the hard way with Robinho.
