The info was seven in - ten out...

If you consider Petrov, Boj are already gone - eight more.

My GUESS...

ROBBIE
ONUOHA
IRELAND
JO
RICHARDS
SANTA CRUZ
BELLAMY
SWP

Benjani and Sylvinho also gone in addition to the two stated.

Jo, Caicedo and Etuhu all surely on their way either to be sold or on loan. Then Robinho will presumably go as well if we can find a taker who doesn't expect us to loan him out and pay most of his wages?

All of those were out on loan in the 2nd half of last season and only Robbie - if his head's right (doubtful, IMO) - would have any chance of making a career at the club now.

So that's eight to go so far. I'd then guess that there's no place for Santa Cruz if we sign Balotelli AND another striker, which seems to be the plan now. And Onuoha would seem so far down the pecking order and may have queered his pitch anyway with that Soccer AM thing that he'll surely go as well.

My guess is that there'll be another couple to leave beyond that - maybe two out of Richards, Ireland, Bellamy or SWP). Possibly a couple of kids (e.g. Boyata, Weiss) on loan to a lower Prem side.

That's the only draw back with this forum, I really ought to be working now instead of reading this. I think my wages are going to be docked!

The "out" list will be pretty much as stated save for the fact that its all very well wanting to move players on but there is no way we could shift this number of players at these wages on a permanent basis without huge subsidies to these deals. There simply isn't sufficient money around at the moment.

Only a fool would take Santa Cruz given his injuries at anything over £3-5m with a wage subsidy. We have a similar problem with Robinho albeit at a higher fee level. And with Jo. All of Richards, Ireland, Bellamy and SWP will be interesting to other teams but the game is basically broke right now so either we move them on at huge losses/undervalues or we hold on. Selling on at these levels only artificially subsides our competition which is totally undesirable. Its a definite problem.
