i hope we land Kolarov, Luiz AND Maicon, but seeing that we got Boateng, I am content without Maicon. I think Boateng has every bit in him to be as good or hopefully better than Maicon.

besides, the height of our defensive fort is favoring us in aerial battles.

Boateng (6'4")...........Kompany (6'4")........Luiz (6'2")...........Kolarov (6'2")

..........................................Yaya (6'3").........................................

and these guys are no Christopher Sambas either.

Tolmie,

Please clear this up.

7 in total including the 3 already signed

or 7 more

(I think you meant the former).

He did clear it up - thought it was very clear that he meant 7 in total

As you can see from my OP, I have no knowledge whether Arteta is any way related to Milner's signature.

At least maybe some sceptics can concede the info has been correct with regards these two names.

My gut tells me that we are using one name to strong arm another, but I would not in the least bit be surprised if we got both.

We were offering players for Arteta last time I heard.

But the info re Milner is strong in terms of optimism.

Fuck Milner and Arteta, I want to hear clues about the "Stellar 3"!!!!!!

;P

I have exclusive pics!

with all news coming from italy i guess kolarov will be our next signing , i think balotelli will be close second as he has made his mind to move and our coach knows him from his inter days , also the prospect of robinho in part exchange will suit both clubs.

Well they deserve all the stick they get and it's one of the reasons that UEFA brought in those regs.

In this country we have laws against monopolies and anti-competitive practices.

In the Middle East they don't - monopolies (with governments complicity) exist.

They're trying to monopolise football by basically out spending everyone else in the next two years.

I think their business plan is fundamentally flawed - because noone wants to support Manchester City.

They've got ZERO - NADA history.

And no dignity either.

So what have they got? - Money.

FOR THE TIME BEING. But from 2013, they won't even have that the fcuking blerts!!!

Amusing, considering the Premier League was set up after five clubs threatened to form a breakaway league. Those clubs were United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and... Everton.

Funny how things change isn't it?
