The arsenal invincibles drew 12 games in the 2003-2004 season and finished on 90points . 3 of which came in the first 10 games. Now I'm not suggesting mancini and his band of merry men will repeat such a feat but I do think it affords some perspective on our clubs own situation. Being hard to beat is a valuable strength let's hope our attack and general play improves as the season develops.

Well the statter !

Looking at defeats instead, i always say if you loose more than 5 games in a season you aint going to win the league.... Whats the most games a team has lost but yet still won the PL ?

Whilst we are undefeated , we are already showing signs that we are drawing too many games ......

with three points for win that won't do , we'll soon find ourselves losing out to teams who are winning more games than we currently are.

Mancini's right .... a top striker would have won us the game at Upton Park yesterdray , whereas Balotelli didn't !

Should have started aguero instead.

I agree
Every match they have started together (Tevez & aguero in the league) we have won, including last season.

And having just watched the 60 second near misses, we could have comfortably won that game, or comfortably lost it! We are some way, how far is any one's guess, from free scoring cavalleriana AND/OR granite solidity in defence. But things are improving. Many a season we would have lost games like that one, and the Arse one, and the WBA one, and the other 'un!
