Which "mass muslim rallies" might these be, I seem to have missed them?

What were the official numbers at this one?

No idea. It turned pretty ugly though...was in 2012 I think.

There's a call for 10000 to rally in Sydney today. Hopefully it's peaceful..not holding my breath

a) All religious people including our owners are thick.
b) All Muslims in non European cities hates us.

BM - breaking records since... well 2014, cos that's when I joined.

Who cares really, a football cellar forum is definitely a decent yard stick for the average man. 4 pages isn't a big enough sample size.

Earlier it was about right vs left, and i'm sure over a long enough thread exposure type deal it was probably bang down the middle, if not slightly left.

If that's the way the person who wrote the open letter feels, then go to the middle east or North Africa and preach it.
They would not last 2 minutes.

What is not reported is the amount of Christians who have been slaughtered (rape and tortured) and places of worship burnt down.
This has been going on for decades.

Also I have read some of the Quran and it is quite disturbing especially against the Jews.

London is one of the exceptions where a large diversity of people live, work and seem to mix Etc.

In most of the other places around the country, Indian's, Pakistani's, Polish and Northern African's Etc. All live and mix in one area and don't integrate with the local community.

My own views. I'm not racist and have a mix of friends and colleagues who are from all walks of life.

mate thats the problem people cherry pick things intentionally or just read things of the internet and judge islam,you have to study the whole thing completely to grasp the message and to know in what context they have been said,the misconceptions about islam sad to say are beyond belief

They might call for them but I doubt they'll get anywhere near those numbers. The only "rallies" I ever see in this country seem to be Choudary and a handful of dickheads stood around with home made placards.

As requested. Yes the bible has some horrible things in it but we have evolved and realised that stoning some one for adultery is not really humane!

The point is this, like a lot of good threads just ends in a slanging match. I know Muslims have demonstrated in London and other cities calling for infidels to be killed but that isn't what this thread is about. Instead of talking about what the guy wrote we have yet another god v non god thread. Muslims v The Rest of the World. We have these slanging matches three times a week and to cap it all JOTL decided to slag our owners off !!

Did you know that the Quran explicitly says "there is no compulsion in religion" (2:256), and our Prophet clarified "whomever hurts a non-Muslim will not smell a whiff of paradise"?

It's in vogue atm, strike the pose. I agree with you though, although this is that kind of thread, it's to be expected, people love to label people, i think because most people hate changing their fucking silly minds! I change mine all the time!

Yes as stated but the Christians have CROWN UP! and understand our wrong doings of old. As I said, please read what I stated . We do not go around stoning, torturing Etc. We have a justice system that on the whole works.
