A NEW POLL - Hughes, IN OR OUT?

Out if the team fail to turn up on Thursday.

If he can't motivate his players in what is effectively the biggest match of his managerial career so far then he surely never will.

You're all fickle with very short memories - IN

I was going to post a really witty reply to that, but i've forgotten what it was.

Great let's all vote out and get our seventeenth manager in the last 22 years, the same time bacon face has been winning everything.

Is it any wonder we have no continuity? That players who are sh1te get away with it year in year out because they know they will be given yet another chance by a new manager, until they stop playing again and bring in another manager.

Successful organisations don't change the management when the going gets tough, they leave them to manage.

Let's all vote out and repeat our glorious last 22 years!

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

just look at chelsea? since they have been chopping and changing there managers they have had nowhere near the success of mourinho (granted he is the best manager in the world)

and look at strawberry nose, first 4 years without winning cock all, nearly getting sacked. And Rafa now starting to get somewhere with the dippers

if you look at the majority of teams who have success, they give the manager time, not sack a manager every season when things arent going well!

Great post but you might as well bang your head against a brick wall with some of the dullards that support our club. Passionate blues absolutely but totally misguided imo.

Old habits die hard - we are the richest club in the world and yet some fans still love to create a crisis.

Things are so terrible we could reach the semis of the UEFA cup for the first time in 30 years ! We had a team that demonstrated relegation form in the second half of last season and lost 8-1 to a team that is going to get relegated this year, and without our best player from last year all of this season. But we haven't progressed into a top six spot in less than a season so that's a sackable offence.

Lets spout about the 100 million he's had to spend but forget that he has only had that team for for about a 1/3 of the season, he hasn't been able to pick his team consistently since he made his signings and that most of the transfer fees quoted have been vastly inflated so it's probably nowhere near £100 million

On the verge of our biggest game in 30 years and the fans are talking about sacking the manager. You really couldn't make it up.
